Deanna graduated from James Cook University in 2019 and has worked in general practice for several years, with a strong interest in pain management, chronic conditions and palliative/ end of life care.

With a rise in the use of integrative and natural healing methods within the human and veterinary community, she noticed an increasing need for additional options in patients where conventional western medicine simply wasn’t enough or was ineffective.

Deanna completed her training in Veterinary Acupuncture through Chi University (Florida). Her goal is to provide convenient acupuncture services where pets are most comfortable – particularly if mobility is an issue. She also accepts referrals for hospital patients, and can travel directly to clinics if required.

Deanna is happy to provide further advice and information to clients and veterinarians interested in whether acupuncture is a good option for their pet, but will refer back to a patients’ regular vet for any non-related queries and services.
